Job Description

Asbury is hiring a New Care Sales Manager for an onsite role in Palm Harbor, FL. In this position, you will operationally lead the new and used car department, guide sales consultants, coordinate with third-party vendors, and drive monthly sales quota performance across both segments.

Core Responsibilities

Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help remove disconnects in the sales process.
Build customer rapport to establish a referral network and strengthen the customer base.
Provide training and ongoing support to the sales team and assist with closing when needed.
Manage the sales department operations and maintain oversight of the inventory lot.
Order and purchase vehicles for the new inventory lot, and purchase used vehicles through auction or off-lease channels.
Partner with lot attendants to ensure vehicles are properly tagged and positioned.
Conduct trade appraisals and enter trade and vehicle information into the vehicle management system.
Desk deals, track revenue logs, and manage retail delivery reports.
Track and maintain adherence to turn policy guidelines for inventory.
Partner with third-party vendors and the service department to complete internal service work on used vehicles prior to placing them into lot inventory.
Prepare and administer the annual forecast and budget for the new vehicle department.
Administer and monitor factory sponsored programs.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience as a sales consultant and F&I manager required.
Ability to work across both new and used vehicle processes.
3-5 years of automotive experience required.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain customer relationships.
Capacity to handle high volume business professionally.
Experience and ability to manage conflict resolution.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft suite products and dealer management systems.
Ability to build relationships with local and national vendors.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
MBA is a plus.
