Job Description

Motiv8 Advisors is hiring a Business Development Recruiter in Port Saint Lucie, FL (hybrid). In this role, you will own the recruiting process for independent financial advisors from the first conversation through signed and onboarded, and you will build a book that directly impacts your earnings. If you are a hunter and closer who wants uncapped, ownership-style income, this is built for you.

What you’ll be doing

Own the full recruiting journey for advisors, carrying them from first meeting through signed and onboarded, whether a setter booked the meeting or you sourced the advisor yourself.
Source additional advisors beyond setter leads so your book grows. More advisors in your pipeline means more in your pocket.
Run consultative fit calls that diagnose the advisor’s business, clarify their real ROI, and present the Motiv8 case with proof, not hype.
Handle objections including compensation, transition risk, and “I’m comfortable where I am,” even when decisions can take weeks.
Follow up relentlessly, since advisors rarely say yes on the first call.
Grow and retain your book. You earn on your advisors’ production, so advisor success directly drives your paycheck.
Generate referrals from the advisors you convert.
Stay accountable to the numbers: know your pipeline and key metrics cold and report to the Director of Growth and Advisor Relations.

What motivates you

This position is structured for people who want control over their results. Your compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped performance-based pay tied to the advisors you onboard and the production they generate. You also earn on your book as long as your advisors keep producing.

What you bring

You can demonstrate that you have closed deals. Ideally, you have recruited advisors or sold in financial services, annuities, insurance, or RIA transitions, with proof of your numbers.
You are a hunter and closer who can build your own outreach and consistently find opportunities, not rely on provided names alone.
You deliver a high-trust consultative sales process with sophisticated professionals.
You can manage multi-week deal cycles without letting opportunities go cold.
You want uncapped income and will work with the intensity of someone who owns the outcome.
