Compensation
Salary range posted: USD 84,000 to 135,240 per year. This role may include a sales incentive plan, and total target cash compensation can vary by location and factors such as experience and qualifications. Responsibilities
- Grow sales in the Ohio territory by maintaining current customer relationships and developing new business through relationship-building, outreach, and meetings.
- Monitor competitor activities in the region and identify opportunities for business development.
- Stay informed about industry news and trends to spot new business opportunities.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences as needed to generate leads and sales.
- Serve as a liaison among customers, Customer Service, and the Manufacturing Facility.
- Aim to meet revenue targets and KPIs, including product quotas, yearly sales quotas, NPD sales requirements, and minimum quote funnel requirements as defined by the business.
- Coordinate activities with the Regional Sales Manager, other Territory Sales Managers, Segment Managers, the National Distribution Manager, and other supporting representatives.
- Develop thorough knowledge of all Vidmar and LISTA products.
- Provide distributor and end-user product training on current offerings, new products, and services (literature, Digital Applications & Tools).
- Leverage distributor partnerships to achieve territory revenue targets.
- Manage a Travel and Entertainment budget within approved limits.
- Adhere to Stanley Black & Decker Business Conduct rules and regulations.
- Travel to call on end users and distribution partners, collaborate with local TSMs to drive regional sales.
- Occasional travel outside the territory for training and company-wide meetings may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (business, sales, management or related fields).
- At least 5 years of sales experience in industrial or complex commercial products.
- Experience with direct sales and dealer/distributor channels preferred.
- Ability to develop and present programs to customers and the sales organization.
- Proficiency with computers; MS Office; CAD software is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce.com.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay self-motivated with high energy.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and execute tasks while working independently.
- Excellent driving record.
- Willingness to travel every day within the territory to attend meetings and trade shows as required.
- Ability to work and travel on weekends or outside core hours as needed for business events.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
