Job Description

Metaview is hiring its first dedicated Mid-Market Sales Manager in San Francisco to own revenue, people, and performance for the Mid-Market segment. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will establish and improve the operating cadence, strengthen pipeline qualification using MEDDPICC, and coach AE talent to drive consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

Own Mid-Market quota attainment, revenue performance, and the segment forecast for San Francisco.
Recruit, onboard, lead, coach, and develop quota-carrying Mid-Market AEs, partnering with Recruiting to fill open roles and creating individual development plans based on team gap analysis.
Reinforce pipeline generation standards and MEDDPICC deal qualification, adapting the existing playbook to the team’s needs rather than rebuilding from scratch.
Run pipeline-generation prep and wrap-ups, weekly pipeline and forecast reviews, and the reporting required to identify where performance needs attention.
Partner with reps on live deals with direct coaching to improve conversion and consistency; collaborate with sales enablement and PMM to translate training and methodology into day-to-day execution.

Requirements

Proven experience leading quota-carrying sales teams with consistent quota performance in a high-velocity motion, with the ability to make an impact from the start.
Ability to identify, attract, and develop strong AE talent in a competitive hiring market, paired with the ability to deliver direct, real-time coaching on deals.
Experience maintaining high standards for pipeline generation and MEDDPICC qualification while giving high-agency reps room to own their work.
A builder’s mindset for improving operating rhythms, reporting, and an existing sales playbook, rather than relying on a fully finished system.
Readiness for second-line leadership or an expanded-region role within 12 months, supported by an evolving operational playbook.

What Success Looks Like Early

In the first three months, you will work with Recruiting to fill open roles, assess each rep’s development needs, and demonstrate measurable impact on the segment forecast through hands-on deal coaching and a stronger operating cadence.

Benefits

Work with strong co-workers in an environment built around cohesion, collaboration, and performance.
Accelerated learning as the company re-orients how the world works with AI.
High compensation, including cash and equity.
All benefits you would expect and more.

Role and Location

Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
Employment type: Full time
Department: Go-to-market Sales

How Metaview Works

Velocity: Optimize for the rate of learning, take action, get feedback, improve.
Hospitality: Prioritize the experience and delight customers, candidates, and colleagues, even when inconvenient.
Transparency: Share context openly within the company so people and agents can take initiative.
End-to-end: Deliver outcomes, not tasks, and see work through beyond a job description.
