Job Description

Industrial Kinetics is hiring an Integrator Business Development professional to drive growth within the integrator market segment. This hybrid role is based in Downers Grove, IL and focuses on managing a full deal lifecycle, from the first appointment through project award, while keeping forecasts and pipeline details current for leadership.

You will own deal opportunities, collaborate with Solution Development to shape competitive proposals, and build relationships across integrator organizations. The position combines independent prospecting, lead development from outbound marketing, and consistent CRM discipline using Salesforce.

What You’ll Do

Own the integrator market segment from first appointment through project award.
Build and maintain relationships at all levels within integrator organizations.
Prospect independently by making 30 calls per week within the integrator channel to build pipeline.
Engage leads from the outbound marketing function and develop them into qualified opportunities.
Manage 55+ active opportunities across varying stages while keeping Salesforce accurate and up to date.
Develop and implement customized communication standards across your book of clients, with an emphasis on staying top of mind (ideally using automation and AI to support these efforts).
Coordinate with the Solution Development team to produce competitive proposals.
Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly/quarterly forecasts to the Sales Manager.
Perform other related duties assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements

3+ years of outside consultative B2B sales success in capital goods, industrial automation, conveyors, or related equipment (preferred).
A documented record of opening new accounts and closing complex deals with consistent follow-up systems.
Experience managing 6 to 18+ month B2B sales cycles.
Strong CRM discipline; Salesforce experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with engineers, owners, PMs, and procurement teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset: self-directed, persistent, and motivated to win.
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Education: High school or equivalent.

Preferred

Knowledge of industrial automation or material handling, an established integrator network, outbound marketing or SDR experience, formal sales methodology training, or a college degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Compensation & Benefits

$70,000 – $95,000 base salary plus commission; OTE $100,000 – $135,000, uncapped (commensurate with experience).
Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Paid time off, company holidays, and educational assistance.
Paid leave in accordance with the law.
Join a stable, family owned company with over 50 years of industry leadership and work alongside a tenured, highly skilled engineering team.
Career development in a collaborative environment focused on quality, innovation, and long-term growth.

Location

Downers Grove, IL (hybrid, with travel up to 40%)
