Job Description

Role Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, this position is responsible for generating new business opportunities for Virtue Recovery Center LLC. You will implement plans to grow existing business and pursue new opportunities, partnering closely with leadership to drive local market initiatives and companywide census and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Business Development to develop and implement action plans that support local market initiatives and overall census and financial objectives.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to identify barriers to the business development process and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Research markets where VRC operates to uncover viable business opportunities.
  • Support local representatives with referral source prospecting, pipeline development, referral capture, and related activities through regularly scheduled ride-alongs.
  • Monitor CRM (Salesforce) to ensure representatives log business development interactions, allowing performance measurement against expectations.
  • Develop KPIs for business development representatives that align with the territory business development plan and broader company objectives.
  • Maintain openness to coaching and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Graduate degree in business, healthcare operations/management, or in clinical/medical disciplines.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in behavioral healthcare service delivery, sales, and marketing and/or business development required.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, and provide meaningful feedback to direct reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management within Virtue Recovery Center and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead in a changing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and shift changes.
  • Capable of contributing both as a leader and as a team member, collaborating effectively with others.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills

  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, internet software, payroll systems, and spreadsheet and word processing software.

Physical Demands

  • Reasonable ability to stand, walk, and sit during assigned shift hours.
  • Ability to manually handle patient belongings with gloved hands.
  • Ability to manually assess a patient as part of a physical exam.
  • Ability to reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to speak and use required senses within normal limits (hearing, taste, smell, etc.) as it applies to patient care.
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
