Position Overview

This role directly leads the region's residential sales team across a multi state territory. It involves developing and executing new customer acquisition strategies while maintaining key client relationships. The position collaborates with the National Accounts Team to optimize local revenue from National Accounts agreements. It also trains residential sales representatives on policies, product knowledge, CRM sales system, and selling skills, and supports reps during complex negotiations. The incumbent works with the Operations Regional Vice President and General Managers to drive revenue, ensure customer satisfaction, and promptly resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the day to day activities of the regional residential sales team.
  • Develop and implement customer growth strategies.
  • Maintain key customer relationships.
  • Lead the residential sales team.
  • Train and familiarize residential sales reps with established policies and practices to ensure the team is equipped with product knowledge, understanding of CRM sales systems, and top down and segment selling skills.
  • Assist residential sales reps with complex sales negotiations. Work with the Regional VP and General Managers to drive customer satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Sales Management experience required
  • Valid, permanent driver’s license from the state of residence; current auto liability insurance required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Negotiation and influencing skills; experience in segment selling
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, practices and methodologies
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Proven track record of new customer acquisition in B2B markets
  • Direct experience managing sales associates across multi-state markets
  • Ability to mentor, train and develop others
  • Organizational, project and process management and leadership abilities
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Business process analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM sales systems
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $114,013.00 to $190,020.00

This range reflects the qualifications required for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations allowed by law. Offers may consider a candidate's skills, experience, geographic location, workload expectations, and internal pay alignment. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range, with the upper end typically reserved for those with extensive experience. Pay history is not a factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to base pay, benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, and a Company matching 401(k), among other programs and perks.
