A competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 per year, onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ, with travel within the Morris County footprint to identify opportunities and promote Affinity Federal Credit Union's products and services. Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue new commercial member relationships, focusing on acquisition and growth
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Advise business members on financial solutions and strategies
- Review current member relationships to uncover additional opportunities
- Identify quality Select Employee Group opportunities through active business development
- Achieve assigned sales goals and contribute to overall performance
- Demonstrate knowledge of business financial solutions and their application
- Track sales activities and prepare required reports
- Use consistent follow-up to maximize closing opportunities
- Foster teamwork by coaching small business skills and coordinating with member-facing teams; partner in assigned markets to identify referral opportunities
- Manage all referrals received from line of business partners
- Articulate Affinity’s core values to members and colleagues
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in financial services
- Thorough knowledge of credit union products and services, including deposits, lending, cash management, and virtual banking tools
