Job Description

Electrical Power and Safety Company (EPSCO) is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) in Brainerd, MN for an onsite, full-time role. If you enjoy building pipeline through research and outreach while connecting customers to safety training and engineering study opportunities, this position puts that work front and center.

You will help identify new potential clients and drive new business opportunities by researching leads, running outbound call and email campaigns, and coordinating the next step through scheduled meetings for safety training and study proposals. The role also includes communicating outcomes for prospects who do not move forward, using closed-lost and dead tracking within outbound campaigns.

What you’ll do

Research, email, and call inbound leads
Execute outbound call and email campaigns using an agreed-to cadence
Enrich contact data to support drip campaigns (with enrichment mainly driven by primary research)
Identify and schedule Safety Conversations tied to Arc Flash engineering studies
Identify and provide pricing information for stand-alone On-Site Safety Training
Set proposal meetings for Safety Training customers
Include closed lost and dead outcomes in outbound campaigns

What we’re looking for

2-5 years of sales experience selling business to business is expected
Ideal experience includes selling engineering services, compliance, and training
High school or equivalent (preferred)
