Job Description

Cornerstone of Recovery is hiring a Business Development Representative to support growth in Cookeville, TN by uncovering and advancing new health care business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Research, network, and conduct outreach to identify and qualify new business opportunities in the health care sector
Connect with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings to understand challenges and align them to appropriate health care service solutions
Partner with internal sales, marketing, and clinical teams to build customized proposals and presentations that reflect client needs and regulatory standards
Track client interactions and sales activity in CRM software to monitor pipeline progress and forecast potential revenue
Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to provide insights for strategic decision-making

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health care administration, or a related field
3+ years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within health care services/behavioral health
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales pipeline management
Ability to work independently and also contribute in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with health care providers, payers, or related organizations
Knowledge of health care regulations and compliance standards
Advanced degree or certification in health care management or sales
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a health care setting
Proficiency in data analysis and market research techniques
