The role focuses on new customer acquisition and Midwest market expansion, reporting to the President and driving regional revenue growth.

Develop and execute a Midwest based strategy to win new business across industrial, marine, architectural, and manufacturing sectors, guiding opportunities from prospecting to close.
Represent the company at major industry trade shows and manufacturing expos, generating leads and engaging with decision-makers.
Maintain a current, organized CRM with all accounts, leads, and outreach activities to reflect accurate pipeline status.
Proactively reach procurement managers, engineers, and corporate buyers through cold calling, digital networking, and on-site visits to grow opportunities.
Identify customer pain points, confirm project fit, and capture the scope of work before transferring details to the internal estimating team.
Collaborate with the President to ensure territory growth plans align with production capacity and strategic objectives.

Bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields include Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum five years of proven hunter/outside sales experience in custom metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, or industrial services.
CRM proficiency: able to track pipelines, log communications, and manage multi-state accounts efficiently.
Solid track record of managing and expanding a multi-state Midwest territory.
Demonstrated ability to open doors, bypass gatekeepers, and onboard entirely new enterprise accounts.
Industrial literacy: broad understanding of fabrication capabilities, welding, and structural materials to effectively pitch to engineers and buyers.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Midwest for customer visits and industry trade shows.

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
