Job Description

StoryPoint seeks an on-site Business Development Specialist in Romeoville, IL to grow referral networks and promote the brand through regional networking.

Responsibilities

Turn audiences into traffic and drive visits to properties via local events, campaigns, advertising, and networking.
Identify new opportunities to expand the growing base of referral sources.
Outreach to referral agencies, community and professional organizations, and other sources to build ongoing relationships.
Maintain weekly contact with community partners and referral sources to sustain relationships.
Follow up on referrals and coordinate cross-selling with the Leasing Consultant.
Attend relevant networking and marketing events to broaden business contacts and relationships.
Keep informed about open inventory, market pricing, occupancy, and revenue goals for the community.
Support strong resident retention through referral programs, renewals, and community events.
Serve as an educational resource for residents, caregivers, and staff.
Utilize prescribed tools to log outreach activities and results.
Share outreach results and metrics with the Leasing Consultant and collaborate on improving outreach performance.
Ensure the Leasing Consultant follows up on all communications and referrals.
Represent the organization positively and model high standards of excellence.

Requirements

Experience or training in a senior independent and/or assisted living community.
Knowledge of the senior market and the range of senior living products.
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver accurate results.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Demonstrates initiative, creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Highly organized, able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience with a CRM such as Salesforce is preferred.
