Job Description

Spencer Media Group is seeking an experienced leader to coach, empower and grow its sales team in Spencer, Iowa. This role guides media advisors to expand their clients’ businesses while steering a company that spans traditional, current, and emerging media platforms. The General Sales Manager will lead a high‑performing team and drive initiatives that bridge legacy media with today’s digital landscape.

Responsibilities

Oversee a top-tier, performance-driven sales group.
Guide the team in upholding standards for quality, community impact and revenue growth.
Drive initiatives that connect traditional media with modern and emerging platforms.
Direct a roster of high-caliber sales professionals.
Motivate the team to achieve greater results through selling clicks, visits, calls and searches that help clients be found and chosen by their customers.

Requirements
