Job Description

BConnected, LLC, a digital marketing agency based in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a growth-focused Business Development Leader who will identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, and close new business. This on-site role blends strategic outreach with hands-on deal execution to drive revenue and strengthen the agency's market presence in Wisconsin and the surrounding markets.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and build relationships with qualified business opportunities
Maintain a consistent sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and strategic partnerships
Conduct discovery meetings to understand client goals, challenges, and marketing needs
Present BConnected’s services and capabilities to prospective clients
Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and recommended solutions
Manage opportunities through the sales process from initial contact to contract execution
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions across Wisconsin and nearby markets
Keep accurate records and pipeline activity in CRM systems
Develop referral relationships with business leaders, chambers, associations, and complementary service providers
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Provide market intelligence and client feedback to agency leadership

Requirements

3+ years of business development, sales, account management, or related experience
Experience selling professional services, marketing services, advertising solutions, technology services, or similar consultative offerings
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
Ability to build trust and establish long-term client relationships
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
Commission Opportunity: $20,000 to $40,000+ annually
Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 to $100,000+
