Job Description

BConnected, LLC, a digital marketing agency based in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a growth-focused Business Development Leader who will identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, and close new business. This on-site role blends strategic outreach with hands-on deal execution to drive revenue and strengthen the agency's market presence in Wisconsin and the surrounding markets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and build relationships with qualified business opportunities
  • Maintain a consistent sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and strategic partnerships
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client goals, challenges, and marketing needs
  • Present BConnected’s services and capabilities to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and recommended solutions
  • Manage opportunities through the sales process from initial contact to contract execution
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions across Wisconsin and nearby markets
  • Keep accurate records and pipeline activity in CRM systems
  • Develop referral relationships with business leaders, chambers, associations, and complementary service providers
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to agency leadership

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business development, sales, account management, or related experience
  • Experience selling professional services, marketing services, advertising solutions, technology services, or similar consultative offerings
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
  • Ability to build trust and establish long-term client relationships
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
  • Commission Opportunity: $20,000 to $40,000+ annually
  • Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 to $100,000+
