Job Description

GTM Payroll Services Inc is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to forge and expand strategic partnerships with CPAs, accounting firms, and family offices. This onsite role in Clifton Park, NY offers a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree along with at least five years of relevant experience. The position focuses on driving high-value referrals and managing partner relationships while coordinating with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a targeted plan to grow referral partnerships with CPA firms and family offices
Develop and manage a pipeline of current and prospective partners
Initiate outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to establish new relationships
Keep partners engaged through regular check-ins and strategic touchpoints
Deliver CPE sessions (virtual and in-person) to educate partners about GTM services
Position GTM as a value-added solution that enhances client offerings
Provide partners with insights, tools, and resources to better serve their clients
Monitor referral activity, conversion rates, and overall channel performance
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless referral and client experience
Represent GTM at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Partner with Marketing on campaigns and content tailored to the accounting audience
Maintain accurate partner activity records in CRM systems

Requirements

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to influence, consult, and overcome objections
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and partnerships simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or marketing
