Business Development - Financial Channel
Job Description
GTM Payroll Services Inc is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to forge and expand strategic partnerships with CPAs, accounting firms, and family offices. This onsite role in Clifton Park, NY offers a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree along with at least five years of relevant experience. The position focuses on driving high-value referrals and managing partner relationships while coordinating with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a targeted plan to grow referral partnerships with CPA firms and family offices
- Develop and manage a pipeline of current and prospective partners
- Initiate outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to establish new relationships
- Keep partners engaged through regular check-ins and strategic touchpoints
- Deliver CPE sessions (virtual and in-person) to educate partners about GTM services
- Position GTM as a value-added solution that enhances client offerings
- Provide partners with insights, tools, and resources to better serve their clients
- Monitor referral activity, conversion rates, and overall channel performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless referral and client experience
- Represent GTM at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns and content tailored to the accounting audience
- Maintain accurate partner activity records in CRM systems
Requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and partnerships simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or marketing
