Job Description

GTM Payroll Services Inc is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to forge and expand strategic partnerships with CPAs, accounting firms, and family offices. This onsite role in Clifton Park, NY offers a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree along with at least five years of relevant experience. The position focuses on driving high-value referrals and managing partner relationships while coordinating with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a targeted plan to grow referral partnerships with CPA firms and family offices
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of current and prospective partners
  • Initiate outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to establish new relationships
  • Keep partners engaged through regular check-ins and strategic touchpoints
  • Deliver CPE sessions (virtual and in-person) to educate partners about GTM services
  • Position GTM as a value-added solution that enhances client offerings
  • Provide partners with insights, tools, and resources to better serve their clients
  • Monitor referral activity, conversion rates, and overall channel performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless referral and client experience
  • Represent GTM at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns and content tailored to the accounting audience
  • Maintain accurate partner activity records in CRM systems

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence, consult, and overcome objections
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and partnerships simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or marketing
