Job Description

As a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead at SoulCycle, you will build and run partnerships as a direct revenue engine, connecting sponsorship dollars to monetization and customer acquisition goals. Working onsite in New York, you will own the commercial lifecycle from sourcing and negotiation through post-close execution, renewals, and performance management.

SoulCycle’s boutique fitness environment brings community to the forefront through immersive, candlelit indoor cycling classes and an experience centered on instructors, music, and riders. In this role, you will help extend that brand energy into wellness, retail, and lifestyle partnerships that strengthen awareness and drive growth.

What You’ll Do

Own the annual Partnerships revenue target, building and managing a pipeline of active deals with clear goals across sponsorship dollars, monetization, and customer acquisition.
Set partnership strategy and lead relationship development, including sourcing, negotiation, and bringing in cross-functional partners or executives as needed for discussions.
Manage the commercial performance of existing partnerships, including adherence to contract terms, identifying growth opportunities, and driving renewals.
Source and develop new partnerships to create additional revenue streams, including sponsorships and alternative monetization approaches.
Build and cultivate a partner network across key wellness, retail, and other lifestyle categories, identifying opportunities aligned to target consumers and supporting SoulCycle’s brand positioning.
Run negotiations end to end, partnering with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other teams to establish term sheets and deal parameters.
Lead deal execution after close by holding each opportunity to its KPIs and aligning internal stakeholders to support outcomes.
Manage and develop a direct report, setting the operating rhythm and standards for the partnerships function.
Set, measure, and exceed goals, plans, and KPIs for the partnerships program.

What You Bring

6 to 10 years building and running sales, business development, or partnerships portfolios with direct revenue accountability and a documented record of hitting targets.
Experience structuring, negotiating, and renewing large, multi-year commercial contracts, comfortable owning deal economics as well as relationship and marketing components.
People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports with expanding ownership.
Executive maturity to run negotiations, partner business reviews, and leadership updates without scripts.
Strong storytelling ability to package the SoulCycle brand for partners with a grounded commercial case.
Analytical mindset to define KPIs, track performance against them, and report ROI.
Self-motivated and capable of running independently in a fast-paced, evolving business.
Comfort navigating industries including fitness and wellness, music and entertainment, lifestyle, tech, and fashion/retail.
