Business Development Coordinator
Job Description
Join GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, LLC and support litigation-focused business development with research, communications, and coordination that help senior professionals move initiatives forward. This onsite Los Angeles role is a great fit for someone who enjoys market insights, detail-oriented writing, and the operational side of BD and marketing efforts.
What you’ll do
- Support the firm’s Head of Business Development by researching litigation matters, law firms, attorneys, and prospective client companies
- Monitor litigation news, dockets, and legal industry developments, flagging items relevant to the firm’s practice areas
- Research publicly available court filings and case information as directed by senior team members
- Organize findings into clear, structured summaries for review by senior BD and marketing staff
- Draft and proofread emails, presentation materials, and research summaries, and assist with pitch material creation under guidance
- Prepare briefing materials and background research for attorney, client, and prospect meetings
- Help support logistics for conferences, sponsorships, and client events, including marketing and website-related initiatives
- Coordinate meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting as needed
- Collaborate with senior professionals across the firm on business development projects
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 to 3 years of relevant marketing, business development, or market research experience
- Experience within a law firm, litigation consulting firm, forensic accounting firm, expert services firm, or similar professional services environment is a plus
- Experience with market research, media monitoring, or business intelligence tools such as LexisNexis, Google Alerts, Meltwater, Cision, PitchBook, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with legal or litigation-specific research tools such as Westlaw, PACER, or Law360 is a plus, but not required
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, plus AI-enabled research and productivity tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft polished professional communications
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple research projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and client-service orientation
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment, with support and mentorship from senior team members
