Job Description

Onsite opportunity in Panama City, FL for a Business Development Specialist / B2B Sales, salary USD 23 - 28 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming new client inquiries by educating prospects, presenting solutions, and conducting in-home assessments and Plan of Care analysis.
  • Explain the home care process, its benefits, and the roles of the service team; initiate the care plan; share educational information about care needs; document patient conditions, required procedures, and ongoing care requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Schedule Coordinator and team members to assess and assign the most suitable staff to ensure the best care outcomes and implement team recommendations.
  • Record precise and detailed care plan information in the client account, ensuring all personal, billing, and care details are correctly organized; maintain the patient care database by updating it with new information.
  • Support continuous quality control by conducting on-site reviews to monitor care delivery through 90-day quality assessments and care plan re-evaluations; manage weekly reports with on-site visit results; intervene to address deviations and escalate personnel or care performance issues to the Manager.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings, coordinate information and care requirements with other team members, resolve issues that could affect care outcomes for existing clients, and implement team recommendations.
  • Comply with AHCA, HIPAA and legal requirements by promoting practices aligned with the organization’s standards of care and enforcing adherence to company policies and governing regulations.
  • Protect self, co-workers, and patients by following policies and procedures to prevent the spread of bloodborne and airborne diseases.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards across management and service staff.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational industry workshops as needed.
  • Represent the agency and establish professional networks by attending industry events, peer group meetings, and weekly contacts.
  • Outreach to potential referring providers and practitioners.

Requirements

  • High aptitude for organization and detail.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment.
  • Experience in Home Health or Healthcare preferred.

Job Purpose

The objective of the Business Development Specialist is to drive new client growth by maintaining strong client relations, performing referral outreach, developing effective care plans, and promoting high quality, consistent care.
