Automotive Sales Manager

Sons Automotive Group LLC is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to support a busy dealership sales department in Montgomery, AL on an onsite basis. In this role, you help keep the sales process moving, coach the team, and ensure customers receive clear guidance from the moment they arrive on the showroom floor or sales lot.

You will work closely with employees and customers to strengthen relationships, improve how sales are conducted, and assist with key deal moments. The position also includes oversight of additional sales department and variable operations, along with direct customer support throughout the vehicle selection process.

What you’ll do

• Develop relationships with employees and customers to enhance the sales process
• Build rapport with customers to strengthen and expand the customer network
• Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals
• Help manage all other aspects of the sales department and variable operations
• Provide assistance or direction to customers who enter the dealership showroom or sales lot
• Help customers select a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
• Maintain excellent working relationships with lenders and BMW FS

What you bring

• Proven auto dealership management experience
• Strong Finance background is preferred
• Interest in training additional sales associates and working within a team environment
• Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing, friendly personality, including while handling objections and negotiating pricing
• Clean and valid driver’s license
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen prior to employment
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong finance background covering prime and sub-prime
