Role Overview
The role centers on building community relationships, devising effective marketing campaigns, and providing strategic leadership to drive growth for the Virginia based agency.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: design and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Market Research: assess market opportunities, industry trends, and potential clients.
- Client Acquisition and Outreach: identify and engage prospective clients, referral sources, and partners to expand the customer base; consistent outreach and generating referrals are core components.
- Sales Management: manage the sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Proposal Development: prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients; develop growth plans that address evolving needs in the home care industry.
- Collaboration: coordinate with marketing, product development, and operations to align strategies with company goals.
- Performance Monitoring: track KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Team Leadership: mentor and guide a team of business development professionals to achieve targets.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in business development in home care services or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to build and sustain relationships.
- Knowledge: in depth knowledge of MLTC processes, market research, sales processes, and industry trends.
- Attributes: results driven, proactive, and able to perform in a fast paced environment.
- Experience: Medicaid and Medicare experience is required.
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
- Adaptability to a constantly changing work environment.
Compensation
Salary range of USD 60,000 to 140,000 per year, with quarterly bonus potential.
