Responsibilities

Begin training at a local branch, shadowing sales and operations to gain an inside-out understanding of the equipment-rental lifecycle.
Attend a digital onboarding class with peers across North America to sharpen sales technique and build a supportive internal network.
Participate in outbound sales campaigns that expose you to different construction verticals, varying customer spend levels, general and specialty equipment rentals, and both new and existing customer segments.
Master key sales tools, including the CRM, inventory management platforms, customer portal, and mobile applications.
Lead high-level sales conversations covering price negotiations, multi-piece rental requests, government and educational agreements, service contracts, and the sale of used equipment at the end of its rental life.
Learn proven sales methodologies to deliver customer solutions and drive revenue growth.
Join local team initiatives such as safety huddles, customer appreciation events, yard sale events, client entertainment outings, charity drives, and internal workshops.
Track progress through multiple achievement levels with real-time performance metrics and weekly peer-ranked competitions.
Receive daily feedback from corporate and local leadership, participate in call coaching sessions and ride-alongs, and develop sales strategies and realistic timelines for your accounts.
The program typically lasts 4-6 months before promotion to Outside Sales Representative, depending on market conditions and individual performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in a customer-facing sales role is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Proficient computer and mobile device skills
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Training: must live within reasonable driving distance of the assigned branch and report on-site M-F
