Job Description

The Sales Manager I role within CHG Healthcare's Weatherby Healthcare division focuses on building and guiding a high-performing sales team to achieve growth. This hybrid Raleigh, NC position requires in-office presence at least twice per week.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales results in alignment with CHG's core values.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of a high-performing sales team.
  • Create and execute growth and development plans for sales team members and leaders.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring through weekly one-on-one meetings, side-by-side coaching, role-playing, and additional development activities.
  • Deliver daily and weekly performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Conduct individual performance appraisals and take necessary actions to improve progress.
  • Prepare, analyze, and translate team sales reports on a regular basis.
  • Initially operate at their own desk as a sales consultant to gain a thorough understanding of the business.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team of sales consultants or sales leaders.
  • Strong sales mindset with a proven track record of growing, managing, and maintaining a book of business.
  • One to five years of experience leading people or leaders, preferably within a sales capacity.
  • Two years or more of experience in direct sales of products or professional services.
  • Professional level written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
