Sales Manager I
Job Description
The Sales Manager I role within CHG Healthcare's Weatherby Healthcare division focuses on building and guiding a high-performing sales team to achieve growth. This hybrid Raleigh, NC position requires in-office presence at least twice per week.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales results in alignment with CHG's core values.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of a high-performing sales team.
- Create and execute growth and development plans for sales team members and leaders.
- Provide coaching and mentoring through weekly one-on-one meetings, side-by-side coaching, role-playing, and additional development activities.
- Deliver daily and weekly performance updates to senior leadership.
- Conduct individual performance appraisals and take necessary actions to improve progress.
- Prepare, analyze, and translate team sales reports on a regular basis.
- Initially operate at their own desk as a sales consultant to gain a thorough understanding of the business.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team of sales consultants or sales leaders.
- Strong sales mindset with a proven track record of growing, managing, and maintaining a book of business.
- One to five years of experience leading people or leaders, preferably within a sales capacity.
- Two years or more of experience in direct sales of products or professional services.
- Professional level written and oral communication skills.
- Strong and effective negotiation abilities.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
