Business Development Manager - Small Molecule
Job Description
This onsite role in Raleigh, NC places you at the center of Eurofins USA BioPharma Services, where you will drive revenue growth in the South by bringing in new small molecule work and expanding relationships across research, development, and manufacturing markets. Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed the annual revenue target for the South territory by strengthening current relationships and pursuing new accounts in the research and development and manufacturing markets
- Territory includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona
- Generate new business in the small molecule sector aligned with market focus, operational capabilities, and laboratory capacity
- Identify and secure opportunities through face to face meetings and virtual presentations
- Collaborate effectively across the organization to advance opportunities
- Leverage experience to mentor colleagues on the Inside Business Development team
Requirements
- Experience selling for a service company in the pharmaceutical sector, including CDMO, CRO, or CTO
- Recent experience traveling for field-based client meetings and conducting in-person discussions
- Strong scientific acumen and the ability to learn new technical information
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Based in the territory
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences or business administration
- At least two years of bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management experience in contract services or testing services
- Ability to travel at least 40 percent of the time
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
