As a Senior Sales Director focused on Lending Solutions, you will lead efforts to grow sales across global loan and private credit markets for S&P Global Lending Solutions. The role centers on building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, negotiating loan solutions, and delivering against quota.
Location
Onsite in New York, NY and Boston, Massachusetts.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is USD 162,600 - 210,000 per year. Final base salary will be determined based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, and relevant licenses and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the credit markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to support long-term partnerships.
- Identify client pain points, risks, bottlenecks, and future requirements to help define an operational “ideal state” that leverages company services.
- Collaborate with the product development team by sharing client requirements, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to both the client and the company.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets consistently to support sustainable revenue growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote loan management and administration software and services.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of successful sales experience, preferably in credit markets selling software, service, and enterprise solutions.
- Industry knowledge of leveraged loans, private credit, CLOs, loan agency operations, and portfolio administration (asset).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Travel is required to visit customers and attend industry events.
Team and Role Context
S&P Global Lending Solutions is the Enterprise Solutions business within S&P Global Market Intelligence. It provides software, data, workflow automation, and managed services for global loan and private credit markets.
The team helps lenders, asset managers, agent banks, CLO managers, and borrowers manage the full loan lifecycle more efficiently.
