Role overview
Sodexo is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Director, Business Development. This high-impact position focuses on uncovering and converting transformative opportunities through deep engagement with senior decision-makers, cross-functional solutioning, and sustained relationship-building.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate growth by crafting winning bid strategies for complex accounts.
- Build a robust internal and external network of influence (WOI).
- Leverage WOI to strengthen relationships and Sodexo’s market position.
- Partner with sales support, marketing, and operations to develop and deliver complex sales proposals, presentations, and other materials that differentiate Sodexo and help close deals.
- Recommend courses of action to key decision-makers based on analysis of objectives, needs, and problems.
- Identify the sales steps required to implement the recommended solution.
- Ensure proposals comply with financial, human resources, and legal protocols.
Requirements
- Experience leading contract negotiations supporting operations
- Demonstrated success selling large deals with a consultative approach
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience setting and executing strategic priorities and agendas
- Proficiency in Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage workflow, communication, and updates
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
