Business Development Executive
Job Description
Infosys is hiring a Business Development Executive to help organizations identify and act on technology and innovation opportunities. In this sales-focused role, you will work close to prospects and clients as you contribute to innovation initiatives, with occasional travel to project locations as needed. This position is based in Chicago, IL and supports engagement across the business landscape where strategy and learning matter.
Role overview
The Business Development Executive position is designed for professionals who can translate abstract ideas into actionable conversations with prospects and clients. You will operate on the frontline of innovation, helping businesses leverage technology and identifying opportunities that align with client needs and emerging solutions. The role may require travel to project locations.
Location
- Chicago, IL (onsite)
- Candidate must be within commuting distance of Chicago / Atlanta / Raleigh or be willing to relocate to the area
- Travel to project locations may be required
Compensation
- USD 88,000 - 106,000 per year
Minimum qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution, or Master degree
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree track: 5+ years of work experience (with an alternative option to consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education)
- Master degree track: 3+ years of work experience
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship (Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time)

Preferred qualifications
- Experience independently leading portfolios and mining
- Experience providing market development, competitor analysis, and opportunity analysis
- Ability to rally colleagues, prospects, and clients around ideas and deals
