Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
PepsiCo is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for an onsite, field-based role in Chicago, IL. In this position, you’ll lead a sales team, drive distribution and sales growth across all channels in your region, and help translate company KPIs into measurable in-market execution.
Compensation: $93,500 - $120,000 per year. Final starting salary will be based on location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. A recruiter can share additional details during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coach a team of sales professionals to exceed goals through day-to-day coaching, deployment of effective business solutions, and sales development through trade training days.
- Own key regional customer relationships, including communication of new item authorizations, category reviews, void management, chain activation, and performance tracking using data to improve results.
- Design and communicate expectations for all in-store promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and regional strategy.
- Identify growth opportunities and deliver against key performance metrics for poppi within your assigned geography.
- Partner with PepsiCo Area Sales Managers to share regional updates and develop actionable strategies that maximize execution and performance.
- Customize and implement region-specific strategies aligned to company KPIs and long-term business goals.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams around shared goals to ensure cohesive execution of sales initiatives.
- Ensure consistent implementation of national and regional retail authorizations and mandates across both the PepsiCo Bottling Company (PBC) network and independent distributor partners.
What you bring
- 5+ years of DSD/Sales management industry related experience (Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Retail, and/or Grocery).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and experience using sales-tracking software.
- A valid state driver’s license for the posted state or territory and reliable transportation per state motor vehicle requirements.
- Ability to travel as required for business meetings and field-based market blitzes.
- Some lifting and movement of moderate loads, including a 50-pound lifting requirement.
- Willingness and ability to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
