Job Description

LinQ Transport is seeking an experienced business development professional to join its freight brokerage team in Bedford. This onsite role focuses on growing a book of business within transportation and logistics, prospecting new customers, negotiating favorable rates, and coordinating closely with operations to ensure smooth execution across shipments.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand a book of business within the transportation and logistics sector
Prospect, cold call, and cultivate long-term relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and warehouses
Negotiate rates to maximize revenue and margins
Collaborate with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure successful execution
Manage customer relationships through proactive communication and problem solving
Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and capacity conditions
Maintain high activity levels and a strong sales pipeline

Requirements

Minimum 1+ year of freight brokerage, logistics, or 3PL sales experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Competitive mindset with a hunter mentality
Self-starter who thrives in a results-driven environment
Ability to build relationships and close business
High energy, motivated, and coachable

Compensation

Salary: USD 50,000 - 100,000 per year
