Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives for pharmaceutical packaging equipment.
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Prospect for and develop new customers, markets, and business opportunities.
- Manage the full cycle sales process.
- Communicate technical benefits, commercial value, and competitive advantages to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive sales projects effectively within a matrix organization.
- Set sales goals, establish priorities, and follow through on strategic initiatives.
- Manage, support, and develop customers in partnership with regional sales managers.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer documentation.
- Monitor market developments, customer requirements, competitor activity, and emerging trends in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales.
- 50% travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with B2B project sales and marketing.
- Experience driving sales projects in a matrix organization.
- Commercial experience supported by a technical background and understanding.
- Previous experience from the medical industry would be beneficial.
- Technical interest with an understanding of machines and technology.
- Ability to drive and manage sales.
- Qualified in developing and executing G2M strategies.
