Job Description

The MOHR Enterprises LLC is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in international logistics and freight forwarding. This on-site role is based in Bloomfield, NJ and focuses on expanding new business, nurturing client relationships, and supporting international shipping solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities within logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to foster ongoing business and referrals.
  • Sell and tailor international shipping solutions, including ocean, air, and freight services.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure shipments align with client requirements and service expectations.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Assist customers with import and export processes and the necessary shipping documentation.
  • Monitor international trade lanes and market activity to identify opportunities and risks for the portfolio.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or freight sales.
  • Proven B2B sales track record within international transportation or logistics.
  • Experience with Transatlantic and Transpacific trade lanes.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and import/export processes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Moonachie, NJ.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in international freight forwarding.
  • Background in ocean or air freight sales.
  • Exposure to global logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Trade compliance or customs experience.

Compensation and Location

Salary: USD 90,000 per year

Location: On-site role in Bloomfield, NJ
