Job Description

Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Sales Manager to lead multi-trade revenue growth across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services from an onsite role in Lenexa, Kansas, with a focus on training, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding daily, monthly, and annual sales targets through effective sales strategies and optimizing performance across all revenue channels, including Home Comfort Advisors (HCAs), technicians, plumbers, electricians, and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
Lead multi-trade sales efforts across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades, leveraging financing and payment options to boost sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Monitor the dispatch board and coordinate with dispatch and department managers to deploy the right technician, HCA, and resources for each call.
Design and manage comprehensive training programs with hands-on sessions for both management and non-management staff; establish KPIs to track performance and continually enhance training to fit evolving business needs.
Collaborate with sales and service teams to develop strategies, analyze local markets, and recommend new products, services, and innovative sales techniques to improve customer satisfaction, expand market share, and foster loyalty.
Maintain availability for nights, afterhours, weekends, and holidays to support operations and achieve sales targets.
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, aiding in integrating the Southern Model to align with company practices and standards.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience leading a sales team or in successful sales leadership roles.
Proven ability to cultivate high-level relationships with key decision-makers.
Skilled in leading change management initiatives.
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Self-motivated and proactive with a drive for results.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across direct reports and the organization.
Effective time management with keen attention to detail, capable of handling competing priorities and deliverables.
Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite/Office.

Requirements

Approximately 10 years of experience in Molecular Diagnostics, with transplant experience highly preferred; at least 4 years in a senior management role is recommended.
Success in direct-bill, buy-and-bill, or capital sales and value analysis pricing and billing models.
Experience leading a sales team, preferably within a matrix organization.
In-depth knowledge of laboratory services or diagnostics, with transplantation or hepatology favored.
Solid understanding of current US healthcare trends to integrate into national and local sales strategies.
Proven track record of driving sales growth.
Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, commission and incentive reporting, and sales analytics.
