West Coast Homestays is seeking a Fractional Business Development Executive to own the full sales cycle for our vacation rental management services. This commission-based role offers equity upside and the opportunity to build scalable inbound channels that support sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a true self-starter, own your pipeline, set your rhythm, and drive results without day-to-day management
- Build and optimize inbound lead channels, including referral programs, local partnerships, OTA owner outreach, and social media, and make them repeatable at scale
- Identify, prospect, and close new property owner accounts across target markets
- Build relationships with multi-property operators, HOAs, and real estate investors
- Represent our management services across the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through contract execution
- Collaborate with operations and onboarding to ensure smooth client handoffs
- Report pipeline activity and revenue metrics on an agreed cadence
- Surface market intelligence and competitive insights to inform growth strategy
Requirements
- Experience in vacation rental management, short-term rentals, property management, hospitality, OTA platforms, or real estate is required
- Proven self-starter mentality, you identify opportunities and pursue them
- Track record of closing B2B or homeowner facing deals
- Experience building or scaling inbound lead generation systems and sales processes
- Existing relationships in the vacation rental, property management, or hospitality space
- Creative approach to growth through referral networks, local partnerships, social media, and community engagement
- CRM literate with strong pipeline discipline and follow-through
- San Diego or Southern California market knowledge is strongly preferred; other markets considered with deep STR industry presence
About the role
We are a fast growing property management company in the short-term and vacation rental space seeking a sharp, self-directed Business Development Executive to join on a fractional basis. This is a pure commission role designed for closers who want meaningful upside, with no earnings ceiling.
You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting homeowners and portfolio operators to signed management agreements, with equity kickers tied directly to the revenue and growth you generate. You will also help build infrastructure for sustainable growth by identifying and standing up inbound channels, tools, and systems that generate leads beyond the initial conversation.
Compensation & Equity
This is a full commission role with no earnings cap. Commission is paid on monthly management fee revenue generated by your accounts on a tiered structure that scales with volume. You will also earn residual commission on accounts you originate for as long as they remain active.
Equity incentives are milestone-based, tied to ARR growth thresholds. The more you build, the more you own.
Pay
Pay: USD 75,000 - 250,000 per year
