Assistant Sales Manager

Perfumania is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager for an on-site role in Lincoln City, OR. In this position, you will help run daily store operations while coaching the team on customer service and sales performance to reach ongoing targets.

This full-time assistant management role focuses on training staff, maintaining company standards across selling and merchandising, and supporting the store’s sales plan. You will also use product and promotion knowledge to help customers find the right fragrances and offerings based on their needs.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, guide, and audit the store’s day-to-day activities and employees
• Help ensure the store is managed efficiently and professionally
• Train, guide, and delegate responsibilities to staff
• Drive sales growth and work to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Maintain and enforce company standards for selling, customer service, merchandising, loss prevention, and operational activities
• Use knowledge of merchandise, marketing campaigns, and in-store promotions
• Support personal and store sales goals through consistent customer service and sales protocol
• Maintain positive, constructive communication with store staff
• Recommend products by explaining features and benefits aligned to customer needs

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced retail management position (or other relevant experience)
• Proven ability to lead a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
• Ability to complete tasks on time with strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexible availability during peak retail hours, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Proficiency with basic technology, including POS system and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to respond under pressure and use sound judgment in ambiguous situations
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to bend, rotate, and reach in a retail setting to receive, price, and stock merchandise
• Customer service experience: 2 years (required)
• Supervising experience: 2 years (required)
• Spanish: preferred
• Relocate before starting work to Lincoln City, OR 97367 (required)
• Work location: in person

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
