Business Development Manager
Job Description
RW America is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand the dealer network and accelerate product sales across the East territory. This hybrid role is based in Bar Nunn, Wyoming, blending field engagement with remote coordination to support builders, contractors, and architects who rely on RW’s offerings. You’ll work closely with management and inside sales to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction, while training dealer personnel on product features and demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Nurture and manage relationships with existing accounts within the assigned territory.
- Identify and cultivate new customers that meet RW’s criteria in the region.
- Showcase new products and craft plans to place them at dealers’ locations.
- Build and sustain connections with builders, contractors, and architects to promote and realize product sales in the territory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve disputes promptly.
- Prepare quotes and estimates for customer-requested products.
- Collaborate with management and inside sales to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to offer the most current products and services.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of all products through ongoing vendor and supplier training.
- Work with customers to develop marketing strategies that drive sales at their locations.
- Train customer sales teams on product features and benefits, assisting them in demonstrations to end users.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in the building or building materials industry is preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and marketing.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to travel, with some overnight stays required.
- Ability to cold call on new and potential customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn and use the company software for quotations and orders.
- Capability to complete and maintain comprehensive expense reports.
