Job Description
The Director of Business Development at Holy Family Medical Center leads strategic growth initiatives to expand admissions, advance service line development, and implement data-driven tracking to boost volume and revenue. This onsite role is based in Des Plaines, IL.
Overview
Department: Social Work Services. Schedule: Full-time - Days. Facility: Holy Family Medical Center. Location: Des Des Plaines, IL. This position is on-site and operates within a day shift.
Responsibilities
- Organize, direct, and oversee all aspects of business development, including design, execution, monitoring, updating, and ongoing analysis of the organization’s strategic business development plan.
- Collaborate with the CEO to drive growth in hospital admissions, clinical programs, service line development, business planning, physician relations, post-acute strategy, and EMS relations.
- Create and implement tracking mechanisms to increase volume and revenue, with the ability to drill down data to quantify the impact of specific efforts by program, service line, or physician.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business (Development), or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development and/or marketing
- At least 2 years of healthcare management experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Experience with project or program development and management strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills required

Pay Transparency
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $114,400 to $153,961.60 annually. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire and will reflect factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
