Sales Development / Inside Sales Account Executive
Job Description
Golden Star Technology is seeking an Inside Sales Development / Account Executive to join its Cerritos, California team. This onsite role centers on quotes, order processing, and diligent coordination with internal and external partners to support the sales team in delivering outstanding service. The position emphasizes organization, accuracy, and responsiveness as you liaise with customers, suppliers, and logistics teams to keep the flow moving smoothly.
Overview
Location: Cerritos, CA (onsite). Salary: USD 45,000 - 70,000 per year. Minimum experience: 3 years in inside sales.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate customer quotes, including pricing, delivery details, and terms
- Process customer purchase orders quickly and precisely
- Monitor order activity using backlog reports, open-order reports, and customer portals
- Track and follow up on quote activity, open orders, and customer inquiries
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery
- Act as a reliable liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support the sales team with Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
- Assist field sales with business development and account-growth initiatives
- Deliver exceptional service to both new and existing accounts
Requirements
- 3-4 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a technology, parts-manufacturing, distribution, or customer-facing environment
- Proven negotiation and upselling skills, with the ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Confidence in preparing and delivering quotes to clients
- Experience with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills (spreadsheets, formulas, data tracking)
- Excellent written communication skills, especially through email
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Calm, resourceful problem-solver with strong critical-thinking skills
- A proactive self-starter who collaborates well across teams and maintains a customer-focused mindset
