Sales Manager
Job Description
Action Development Corp, operating as Aaron's Rent to Own, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the Champaign store's sales, marketing and merchandising efforts. This role oversees inside and outside sales, drives revenue through lease-based transactions, and coordinates community marketing strategies to grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the store's overall sales function including inside and outside sales
- Sell merchandise to customers
- Establish and meet weekly and monthly sales targets
- Create new business opportunities by planning and executing local community marketing initiatives
- Verify customer identity, collect payments, and secure signatures on lease agreements
- Review and close lease agreements per General Manager guidance
- Support product staging, warehouse maintenance and the Quality Assurance Center
- Ensure showroom displays are properly merchandised
- Keep the store warehouse organized and tidy
- Monitor and maintain efficient operations of the Quality Assurance Center
- Conduct routine service calls and handle product exchanges as required
- Assist with product ordering, including planning for upcoming sales, events and stock balancing
- Clean and certify returned merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center
