AVP, Field Sales Manager
Job Description
AVP, Field Sales Manager drives OnePay credit program growth across the Walmart footprint, overseeing in-store execution, training, and field engagement in the Houston area and Louisiana region.
Responsibilities
- Achieve credit KPIs including applications, new accounts, and credit sales by designing and executing market level and store level initiatives.
- Collaborate with market and store leadership to develop and roll out action plans that boost credit performance and adoption.
- Lead in-store activation of marketing programs, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials; ensure consistent rollout of regional strategies.
- Provide ongoing field-based training and coaching to store and market teams through meetings and performance-focused instruction.
- Increase credit awareness by launching programs and events that engage associates and customers at store and market levels.
- Travel jointly with market leadership to support field activities.
- Deliver insights and performance reporting to client partners and translate data into actionable recommendations and next steps.
- Monitor competitive activity and adjust field tactics to differentiate and win in the market.
- Ensure compliance by auditing signage and POS materials and promptly escalate and resolve issues.
- Oversee travel and field marketing budgets to maximize return on investment.
- Support store openings or relocations and strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Lead special projects and other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience in Financial Services or Retail Store Management; or, if no degree, HS diploma/GED with 5+ years in the same fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.
- At least 2 years of client relationship management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 75 percent of the time.
- Residence within the designated territory.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to undergo drug testing, background investigation, and fingerprinting as part of onboarding.
- Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires at levels 4-7 require 9 months of continuous service before they can post to other roles; after this period, a minimum of 6 months in position is required before posting for future non-exempt roles. Employees at level 8 or higher must have at least 18 months in position before posting. All internal employees must meet performance expectations and obtain approval to post for future roles.
