Wekiva Springs Center is seeking a Business Development Representative to support marketing and promotions for programs and services across Jacksonville and surrounding areas. This onsite role focuses on maximizing referral opportunities, expanding new business, and building strong relationships with patients, families, local communities, and alumni.

Role Summary

The Business Development Representative will manage marketing and promotional efforts for Wekiva Springs programs and services, with an emphasis on referral growth. The position supports assigned referral accounts, works to develop new business aligned with the Strategic Marketing Plan, and strengthens referral potential through education and ongoing engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, local communities, and alumni.
  • Own overall marketing and promotion of Wekiva Springs’ programs and services while maximizing referral potential from assigned referral accounts and supporting new business goals under the Strategic Marketing Plan.
  • Develop and maintain referral resources and educate referral partners on the services provided within Wekiva Springs.
  • Communicate effectively and diplomatically with internal departments and external clients.
  • Motivate and communicate effectively with individuals in crisis and support handling objections or denial.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years in health care business development, healthcare marketing and sales, contract management with measurable business development results, pharmaceutical/medical sales, and basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past (3) years.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Excellent telephone and people skills with good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve practical problems and manage situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and commute to various locations in and around Central Florida.
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Special Qualification

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past (3) years.

Compensation

From $59,432.00 per year

Salary: USD 59,432 per yearly

Physical and Communication Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
  • May lift and/or move up to 15 to 20 pounds.

  • Must be able to operate a vehicle and commute to various locations in around Central Florida.
