Job Description
The Director of Sales at AeroGo Inc. is responsible for building and executing a smart, profitable revenue growth plan while leading a 10-person sales organization. This on-site role is based in Tukwila, WA and reports directly to the President, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance through effective leadership and execution.
- Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Build, enhance, and maintain key customer relationships.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to align growth initiatives with production capacity, technical capabilities, market opportunities, and profitability targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, market activity, and competitor behavior to identify product improvements and potential new products.
- Provide sales activity updates and forecasting to leadership.
- Promote accountability, engagement, and alignment with AeroGo’s values.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Sales leadership: Proven success leading a sales team using a complex consultative sales strategy.
- Customer and manufacturing expertise: Deep understanding of customer manufacturing challenges and the ability to translate AeroGo’s technical capabilities into business solutions. Ability to identify opportunities across safety, labor, productivity, capital investment, and operational efficiency, while communicating what is possible to customers.
- Commercial execution: Proven success in negotiation, prospecting, and sales planning.
- ERP and CRM: Advanced ERP and CRM proficiency. Demonstrated experience using manufacturing operating systems (preferably SAP) to manage quotes, sales orders, product structures, BOMs, pricing, forecasting, backlog, and commercial reporting.
- Analytics and reporting: Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting capabilities, including data management skills.
- Manufacturing systems knowledge: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems and product structures, including Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, part numbering, product configuration, revision control, and engineering change processes as they relate to quoting, order execution, and production planning.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments and build trusting relationships.
- Industry experience: Experience selling industrial, material handling, or engineered equipment is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: USD 165,000 - 185,000 per year.
Incentive: Uncapped commission and bonus tied to meeting operational profit goals.

Hours
- Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Overtime: Expected
Travel & Work Authorization
- Travel: Domestic and international travel required, 25%
- Passport: Required
Background Check & Clearance
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Must pass a security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship: Required due to work associated with military defense companies.
Physical Demands
- Work in a manufacturing environment that may include hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders and stairs; open filing cabinets; and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
- Ability to walk extended distances over uneven ground while wearing proper PPE.
