General Sales Manager
Job Description
This entry-level General Sales Manager position at Anytime Fitness is based onsite in Jasper, Tennessee. The role centers on driving new membership sales, expanding the club’s member base, and promoting Fitness Consultations through high-energy, on-floor engagement with current and prospective members.
Responsibilities
- Grow the membership base by managing a structured sales funnel, following up on leads, and closing new memberships.
- Maintain a steady cadence of sales appointments and club tours through daily outreach across calls, texts, and emails, with activity adjusted for club volume.
- Actively identify prospects, conduct tours, and enroll new members via phone outreach, walk-ins, and community engagement.
- Deliver confident, high-energy sales presentations tailored to each member’s goals.
- Regularly meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and members to drive referrals and improve retention.
- Represent the club within the local community to generate new leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Contribute to a clean, welcoming environment for members and guests.
- Uphold the Anytime Fitness brand standards, safety protocols, and basic operational expectations as an ambassador.
Requirements

- Confidence when engaging new people and asking for the sale.

- Basic organizational skills to manage leads and follow-ups.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with members while delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with members, local community contacts, and other staff and managers.

Schedule
- Monday through Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- January requires Saturday shifts and additional weekend hours as needed.
- Hours may vary by location.
