Retail Sales Manager

Join The Burlap Sack Boutique in Bay City, TX as a Retail Sales Manager where you’ll lead day-to-day store operations while supporting a team focused on outstanding customer service. This onsite role offers USD 18–22 per hour and includes employee discount and paid time off.

What you’ll do

You will oversee the store from open to close, managing daily operations, staff workflow, and customer experience. In this hands-on position, you’ll motivate the team to deliver excellent service, ensure store policies and procedures are followed, and keep the store running smoothly while you assist customers in real time.

• Lead and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate re-stocks
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Train and develop staff in customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally
• Manage fashion merchandising, including styling and store displays
• Provide one-on-one fashion styling and address customer needs
• Style merchandise and accessories, including cross-selling and upselling
• Report back to the owner with daily meetings and updates

What you bring

• 2+ years of retail management experience (required)
• 2+ years in fashion retail (required)
• 1+ year of fashion styling experience (required)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and lead a team
• Passion for fashion retail
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
