Job Description

Rosenberger North America is seeking a Sales Manager to support automotive customers from its Dearborn, MI onsite location. In this role, you will bring detailed technical product knowledge to assigned accounts and help strengthen long-term customer relationships across target OEM and market segments.

The position includes supporting ongoing projects, contributing to OEM development efforts, and handling sales activity such as quoting. Vehicle build support may also be required, along with regular status updates and regional travel.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide customers with technical documents and support ongoing projects using deep technical product knowledge
  • Manage and support development projects for a designated OEM
  • Work to protect current market share and identify key projects
  • Build and maintain strong customer and industry relationships with technical influencers and decision makers across OEMs and focus market segments
  • Oversee OEM customer relationships, coordinating with relevant product and vehicle teams
  • Write work orders to release parts and document engineering changes
  • Partner with Rosenberger Product Management on customer penetration and support for high speed applications
  • Support sales activities and quoting
  • Provide onsite vehicle build support as needed
  • Participate in interdepartmental/intercompany training
  • Complete weekly reporting
  • Travel regionally and internationally as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive Market or in the field of electrical connectors and cable assemblies
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and hardware tools and technologies
  • Accountable, cooperative approach and experience working with other departments to address and resolve issues
  • Strong multi-functional experience across engineering, commercial, and program management
  • Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work with CAD software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy, and detail orientation
  • Bilingual English/German preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 per year (from $100,000.00 per year). Job type: Full-time.

Education & Experience Requirements
