Job Description

The Sales Manager role at FPH MAG MANAGEMENT LLC is an onsite position in Golden Valley, MN, focused on leading the sales team and supporting used car department profitability. The position includes sales process execution, inventory and reconditioning standards, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturers, Finance, Service, and the GM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales team execution across the sales process, including customer follow-up, handling customer escalations, assisting with customer concerns, and managing Sales Consultant performance.
  • Drive used car department profitability by meeting monthly volume and gross profit goals.
  • Ensure day-to-day customer follow-up through ongoing management of the sales team.
  • Work with manufacturers on incentive programs and rebate schedules while maintaining balanced vehicle inventory.
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and development of the sales team.
  • Support the GM with sales meeting facilitation, provide on-the-job training for Sales team members, and coordinate vehicle deliveries with the Service Manager.
  • Manage vehicle reconditioning on the lot and the show floor to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards.
  • Partner with the Finance office to develop and coordinate best practices for an efficient and effective sales approach.
  • Maintain behaviors consistent with company expectations for interactions with customers, co-workers, subordinates, and vendors.

Requirements

  • College degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of automotive management experience.
  • Proven track record in desking and closing deals.
  • Proficient in personal computer use, including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • CDK system experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning.

Compensation

USD 100,000 - 200,000 per year
