Specialist Business Development & Marketing
Job Description
Enbridge is seeking a Specialist Business Development & Marketing in Tampa, Florida to support growth across Southeast GTM assets. The role focuses on sustaining existing customer relationships while expanding new business through structured review, evaluation, and contract negotiation and approval.
Responsibilities
- Develop growth projects, including commercial commitments, internal approvals, external authority, and end-to-end execution.
- Partner with the Business Development manager to provide frontline customer service with a goal of delivering a high level of customer support.
- Assist customers in using contracted services for each pipeline, including monitoring and proactively managing customer contract imbalances.
- Troubleshoot operational and contractual customer concerns and help ensure timely resolution of discrepancies related to pipeline services.
- Maintain working knowledge of commercial operations and track customer and competitive dynamics across Enbridge’s Southeast markets.
- Perform ad hoc analysis related to existing and growth market supervision of the Manager.
- Ensure appropriate governance is followed for contracts and joint venture agreements.
- Build relationships and align consensus across multiple internal teams, including Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, System Planning, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Marketing, Contracts, Commercial Operations, and Field Operations.
- Coordinate with GTM Market Innovation and GTM commercial teams to support initiatives and overall strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the natural gas or energy industry in marketing, accounting, financial, commercial operations, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of gas industry commercial operations.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.
Preferred
- Engineering or business Master’s degree considered an asset.
- Experience in project development, commercial operations, sales, marketing, or similar industrial environments considered an asset.
