Overview
Based in Seattle, on site, this role supports the Sports & Outdoors team within Amazon. The Senior Business Development Manager will drive growth by recruiting, managing, and activating brand partners across North America through strategic collaborations. The ideal candidate has six or more years of professional or military experience and holds a bachelor's degree. The position carries a yearly salary ranging from USD 143,700 to 213,800.

Responsibilities
- Lead growth for the Sports & Outdoors brands by sourcing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with leading and emerging brands across North America.
- Develop innovative growth strategies to unlock new revenue opportunities across major verticals.
- Design partnership models with leagues, talent, and specialty retailers to broaden Amazon’s brand portfolio and enhance customer relevance.
- Oversee the sales funnel and close new business through strategic partnerships and negotiations.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for brand partners, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to maximize sales, visibility, and customer engagement.
- Review strategic insights and deal proposals with senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable plans.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to shape category strategy and guide investment priorities.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering collaboration, creativity, and high performance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional or military experience.
- Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex agreements and lead cross functional teams to close deals.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Bachelor's degree.
