Job Description

Lifetime Door Company is hiring a Sales Development Manager based in Brookfield, WI to own the residential estimate and quote process end-to-end, build outbound relationships with builders across Wisconsin, and support the Territory Sales Manager through structured CRM updates and follow-up.

Role Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of residential estimates, sending quotes accurately and promptly and running a disciplined follow-up process until the outcome is a yes, a no, or a clear timeline.
Follow a defined contact cadence after sending quotes: contact at day 1–2, day 5–7, and day 12–14. Log every touch in the CRM to ensure no quote goes silent.
Track personal performance by monitoring conversion rate on quotes sent, treated as the most important metric.
Review lost quotes for patterns including price, timing, and competitor, and share findings with ownership monthly.
Make 10–15 meaningful outbound contacts per day to residential builders, remodelers, and general contractors in the Wisconsin market.
Build builder relationships over time using a consistent CRM-based touch cadence rather than relying on one-call closes.
Identify which builders are growing project volume and prioritize them for deeper relationship development.
Coordinate with the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) so responsibilities do not overlap, with this role handling phone relationships while the TSM handles in-person outreach.
Prepare the TSM for field meetings by pulling CRM history, reviewing open quotes, and flagging items to address during the visit.
Support follow-up after TSM field meetings by sending relevant materials, answering questions, and setting up next steps to keep the TSM in the field.
Maintain commercial pipeline CRM entries based on TSM updates, logging meeting outcomes after the TSM meets with partners.
Join the TSM in the field occasionally for high-value builder or commercial meetings, supporting development toward a potential territory role.
Include service contract options on every residential quote sent, presented as a standard line item with clear pricing.
During follow-up on closed residential jobs, present the maintenance plan as part of the close.
Track service contract attach rate on a monthly basis.

Compensation

Base salary: USD 50,000–60,000 per year, depending on experience
Residential Install Commission: 2–3% on installs from quotes you sent and converted
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
