Job Description

Lead in-store business development operations for a dealership team in Lenox, MA, focused on customer engagement, appointment volume, and measurable sales performance.

Responsibilities

Own and manage daily operations for the in-store BD function within Sales and/or Service
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate business development representatives as needed
Oversee inbound and outbound lead handling across phone, email, text, and chat
Set performance goals and KPIs for appointment setting, show rates, and conversion
Ensure consistent follow-up processes and maintain dealership CRM compliance
Review reports and metrics to spot opportunities and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to maximize results
Maintain high customer satisfaction and brand standards
Develop scripts, processes, and best practices to improve lead management outcomes

Requirements

2+ years of automotive business development/BDC experience (management experience not required)
Proven results in lead management, appointment setting, and conversion
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
CRM proficiency, with VinSolutions preferred
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
Professional phone presence and a customer-focused attitude
